The nose contains a light housing from a BMW HID light. It has an adjuster for changing the beam angle. It is accessible from the inside via the battery box. The pitot tube is 5/8 titanium with an reverse small tube in it to prevent ice and moisture blocking. There is 2 pitot lines imbedded in the nose foam running either side from the nose to the firewall. One can be used to run the light gauge wires to a relay connected directly off the battery to power the nose lights. The nose light can be removed for an LED nose light or GoPro camera. Included is a wood mold for making replacement lenses.

Notice far right corner the parking brake. Left far side the connector for the elevators to the control stick. These are Matco cylinders and reservoirs connected to slides attached to the rudder pedals. In the middle is my custom designed 4130 steel electric retract. It weighs 6 pounds and is easy to remove and install. It can be completely disassembled if need be to replace bearings and for greasing. It is controlled by an electric circuit board that can be set to lower the gear automatically under a certain speed. Below is the wiring for placing on the instrument panel with a spare circuit board. The pedals and other green pieces are powder coated by a big industrial powder coater. The bottom tube of the linear actuator is chrome plated. The spring is titanium and only weighs a few ounces.

Matco parking brake.

Custom Linear actuator made with 4130 steel (used for race car frames), bottom tube is chrome plated, top tube powder coated, spring is titanium. Note AL slide with adjustable ramps either end as per Wright landing gear system with proximaty switches on sliding block.

Battery Box with front cut out for access to light.

Matco brake cylinders, note the brass extensions that fit into aluminum slide tubes on the rudder pedals so the rudders can be controlled before engaging differential braking when landing. There is a titanium skid plate mounted forward of the nose gear.
